چکیده
In this paper, we propose a method for the identification of differential inductance saturable ferrite inductors adopted in DC–DC converters, considering influence operating temperature. The inductor temperature rise is caused mainly by its losses, neglecting heating contribution other components forming converter layout. When ohmic losses average current represent principal portion power steady-state component can be related to value. Under assumption, usual presented experimental setup and characterization allow identifying DC thermal profile inductor. curve obtained from measurements voltage waveforms, at different values, that lead operate linear region magnetization up saturation. simulate waveform converter, providing accurate results under wide range switching frequency, input voltage, duty cycle, output values.

PCB Integrated Inductors for Low Power DC/DC Converter
This paper discusses the use of printed circuit board (PCB) integrated inductors for low power dc/dc buck converters. Coreless, magnetic plates and closed core structures are compared in terms of achievable inductance, power handling and efficiency in a footprint of 10 10mm. The magnetic layers consist of electroplated NiFe, so that the process is fully compatible with standard PCB process. Ana...
متن کاملUnified Steady-State Analysis of Soft-Switching DC–DC Converters
In this paper, based on the switching cell approach, a unified steady state analysis for families of soft-switching dc–dc converters with complete unified design equations will be presented. The concept of the unified approach and step by step procedure for a generalized process are discussed and applied to selected soft-switching families such as zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) and zero-current-s...

IRCCS Fondazione Stella Maris and Fondazione Imago 7, Calambrone, Pisa, Italy We present a feasibility study that has been carried out to determine the best power regulation strategy for the PET front-end electronics of the trimodal PET/MRI/EEG TRIMAGE scanner. Conventional power regulation strategies cannot be applied to PET/MRI because standard switching regulators stop working in presence of...
